The word of God – the scriptures – gives us many things (words) that require study so that we can “shew” ourselves approved unto God (see the post regarding the word “shew”); so that we can rightly divide the word of truth, and understand some of the deep things of God. One of those things is the division between two similar words, example and ensample. The study notes Understanding Ensamples and Examples have been prepared to help increase our faith and trust in God’s word(s) – to “exhort” us to believe “every word of God” – by the which we are to live, both in God’s kingdom, and in this world (which we are “in” but not “of”). While detractors from God’s word (the KJB) may desire to change God’s word “ensample(s),” we believers in God’s word should always be ready to answer with … God’s word… by which we can say, Thus saith the LORD:
Stand…and speak…all the words that I command thee…; diminish not a word (Jer 26:2)
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it (Deut 4:2)
…by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. (Deut 8:3)
And that includes the word “ensample(s)” which the Holy Ghost has given in our tongue…”other tongues will I speak” (1 Cor 14:21)
