The “word” (or term) “day star” is one of those “words” that occurs only once in the entirety of the scriptures – in 2 Peter 1:19 (if you are reading the book of the LORD, as we are exhorted/commanded to do according to Isaiah 34:16). Do you believe that the LORD would say unto us “seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read…” but then not bother to give us the book of the LORD in our own language for us to be able to do what he says? God’s word tells us (by way of rhetorical question whose answer is obvious) “Do not interpretations belong to God?” (Genesis 40:8). Yes, they do belong to God. And God, the King of kings, delegated his authority to a king to authorize God’s final purfication (Psalm 12:6-7) of his one interpretation (1 Corinthians 14:27) of his word in English. One interpretation: because two (or more), some saying one thing and some another, brings confusion (Acts 19:32), but God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33).
In God’s one interpretation (the Authorized Version – God’s version – the King James Bible) the day star appears as the very word/term “day star” only in 2 Peter 1:19. In most modern (unauthorized) versions, Satan has taken the name upon himself and changed his identity from Lucifer to Day Star in Isaiah 14:12 (thus transforming himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).
